Position: Architectural Draftsperson (Contract Role)

Location: Claisebrook (In-Studio) | Work-from-Home Flexibility

We’re looking for an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our growing boutique architectural building design studio. Based in Perth, DSGN Studio is dedicated to creating unique, well-designed spaces, from custom renovations and extensions to new residential builds.

Role Details

• Contract basis: Approx. 25–30 hours per week

• Start date: ASAP

• Hourly rate: Based on experience

• Work structure: Flexible, with the option to work from home 1–2 days per week

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of Architectural Drafting and Documentation Experience (within Australia)

• Strong Attention to Detail and a Passion for Creative, Thoughtful Design

• Experience Across All Stages: from Concept Design and Council Planning to Building Approvals, Detailed Documentation, and Construction Drawings

• Solid understanding of Local Planning Policies, NCC, and Experience in Council Approval Stages

• Ability to Work Autonomously, Manage Time Effectively, and Solve Problems with Initiative

Skills Required

• High Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

• SketchUp Experience is a Plus

This is a Contract Role (2–4 days per week) with the Potential to Grow into a more Permanent Position for the right Candidate. We offer a Supportive and Flexible Working Environment, and the chance to work on a variety of Exciting, Design-led Projects.
